I am 45 years old and live in the South End with my partner, Terry D Lighte.
I was born in Marlborough, Massachusetts, grew up in Topsfield, Massachusetts, and graduated from Masconomet Regional High School in 1983. I attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and then Northeastern University, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration (Management) in 1989.
I first worked in the financial services industry, as an accountant and a business analyst, before becoming a real estate agent. Until recently, I owned and operated my own real estate company. I published and wrote the Boston Real Estate Blog, from 2005 to 2008. I now write on my new real estate site, here and contribute to the Boston Herald’s Getting Real blog. I work for In Realty, Inc., in Dorchester.
As an adult, I’ve lived in the South End, North End, Brookline, Somerville, East Cambridge, Allston, Brighton, and South Boston. Also, Terry and I spent ten months living in San Francisco, California.
My interests include live theater and travel.
The causes I actively support include Pine Street Inn, Hope House, Community Servings, and BAGLY, as well as the Museum of Fine Arts (where Terry works), the Boston Athenaeum, and the Boston Ballet.
